The butterflies were ready and excited for their journey, but they were also a little worried about what would happen to their garden when they left it. They asked the good fairy if there was something she could do to make sure that the garden and all of its creatures would be protected.

       The fairy then said, "You caterpillars have been so kind and brave in wanting to help me find my way home. I want to bless all of the caterpillars in the world with the gift of beautiful wings and flight. Those butterflies will protect your garden and all gardens. There will be many different kinds, and the world will be full of beauty and delight because of your generosity and kindness."
