When Monarch saw his beautiful new wings he was overjoyed and excited for his upcoming adventure. The things he would do and the places he would go would be places and things that no little caterpillar had ever experienced.

He saw that there was a problem though: How could he go anywhere without the love of his life, his beautiful Queen Alexandra? She was so strong, assertive and fierce, no adventure would be worth having, if it was without her, and Alexandra agreed.

When they told the fairy of their dilemma, she asked Alexandra, "Do you think you would like to come along? I could use someone assertive and fierce to help me along the way. "

When Queen Alexandra nodded her head, the fairy bent down to kiss the top of that very head. As she kissed her, giant blue and green wings sprouted from Alexandra's back.

There were now two butterflies.
